With less than a couple of weeks before the start of the Ticketing Professionals Conference in Birmingham, I sat down with our Business Development Manager, Cath Healy, to find out what she’s looking forward to from the the conference.

Cath will be part of a strong Booking Protect showing at TPC, which also includes our MD, Simon Mabb, our Business Development Director, Cat Spencer and our Office Manager, Vikki.

Q1. What are you hoping to get out of TPC?

TPC is a fabulous networking opportunity, I’m really looking forward to catching up with everyone I met a year ago and making new connections this year.

Q2. Who should come and see Booking Protect at TPC?

Everyone!

I never get bored sharing how we help organisations to generate additional income whilst providing their customers with an award winning added value product. TPC is about exposing you to new ideas and if you’ve never considered refund protection I invite you to speak with us and see whether it can help your venue, (plus we always have great giveaways!).

Q3. How can someone find Booking Protect at the conference?

You’ll probably see the crowds swarming around the Booking Protect stand, we have a new gimmick this year following the huge success of our tornado machine last year. Come check us out !

Q4. TPC2019 has sold out really quickly. Why do you think that is?

I think people now recognise the benefit of attending an industry wide event such as TPC from the network opportunities to the workshops and seminars to enhance personal development through exposure to new ideas. It’s certainly ringfenced on my calendar.

Q5. Are there any talks/speakers that you’re especially looking forward to?

There are so many sessions and often too little time but I’m looking forward to Debbie Richards talk on consumer psychology; Chris Crossley’s presentation on discounting;  and obviously the dragons den death match between Alan Thomas, Rachel Easton and Alan Gelfand on whether ticketing should be more like airlines…it’s going to be a heated debate !

Cath will be very busy on the Booking Protect stand, as we expert lots of interest in our product and our on-stand game. Send us a message on LinkedIn to book a time slot to see Cath or another member of the team!
