5 questions with Liam O’Sullivan

Get to know our Executive Assistant, Liam.

Our Executive Assistant, Liam O’Sullivan, is an important member of the Booking Protect team! He works closely with both our Business Development team and our Administrative team to make sure our customers (and their customers) are happy.

Liam is an organisational whiz and known round the office for always getting the job done. And, as part of the team that’s rated Excellent on Trustpilot, we’d say he’s doing the job really well!

To celebrate so many five star reviews, we asked Liam five questions to get to know him a little better.

What’s your biggest achievement at Booking Protect?

Without sounding cliché, rather than pinpointing a personal accomplishment, I’d say that my biggest achievements are the collaborative successes I share with my colleagues. Our business is forever growing and our service forever improving which is something we can all be proud of because everyone here contributes.

Do you have any career highlights or interesting stories from working with Booking Protect?

There are always interesting stories and bizarre claims, I wouldn’t know where to start! I’d have to sit down for a cuppa and a chat with anyone who wanted to know more from the behind-the-scenes world of Booking Protect.

What do you enjoy doing away from work?

I enjoy going to festivals in the summer (minus feeling alien and readapting to the world in the days that follow, of course). My day-to-day hobbies include watching football (especially on Sundays), bingeing on random YouTube videos, walking my dog, and the occasional drink on a weekend.

Tell us a fun fact!

I’m not sure this will be considered a fun fact by many (probably quite the opposite!) but in the last few years I decided to become Vegan. To this day I still struggle to part ways with certain items of leather clothing though…

Where do you see ticketing in the five years’ time?

The demand for ticketed events is constantly increasing and, with that, the need for a reliable protection provider increases too.

Whilst this isn’t something you want to think about when purchasing a ticket, you never know what the future holds. Unfortunately, there’s always a chance that you’ll be unable to attend a booked event due to circumstances outside of your control. With more and more people attending live events, in five years’ time I see the need for our refund protection been more prominent than ever!
